"Partnership"

Posted on April 25, 2018

This is the time of the year when we revisit Cornerstone’s Annual Partnership Commitment for 2018- 2019

Cornerstone’s Annual Partnership Commitment reflects our vision to continually connect with Christ and one another on a deeper level. The partnership the Bible calls us to isn’t about things or organizations, it’s about people. It’s about you and me, right here and now, in this town, in this time, discovering God’s purposes together in partnership! (Acts 17)

We use the term “Partnership” instead of “membership” for a reason. The term “Membership”, will for many, immediately draw their focus to some-thing like a club, an organization, an ideal, an activity, a gym … to some-thing.

Membership mentality usually asks, “What will this church do for me?” Partnership mentality asks, “How can we help each other connect our lives more deeply with Christ and one another.

Our vision statement is: To continually connect with Christ and one another on a deeper level. There are two pillars to that vision:

1.  An authentic connection with Christ

2.  An authentic connection with one another

We’ll build more on those pillars this Sunday.

I am praying that you will come.
